On May 10, 2025 Brave Men Inxc, held an event called “Blue Tie Gala: An Evening of Hope”
Brave Men Inc. will present its “Blue Tie Gala: An Evening Of Hope” at 5 p.m. Saturday at River City Ale Works in downtown Wheeling. The blue color in the theme represents prostate cancer awareness.
Brave Men Inc. was created by the late Dimitrious Stanley, a former Ohio State wide receiver, and his wife Jessica. Stanley was diagnosed in 2019 at age 45 with prostate cancer, passing away in 2023. In the couple’s loneliness and search for support for the disease, they created Brave Men Inc. to give men dealing with prostate cancer that outlet.
May 11, 2025: Dimitri Vassilaros posted to Facebook the text along with several photos, some focused on women from behind and photos of just their feet. The post was also shared to the Big Willie 105.5 Facebook page.
“The Blue Tie Gala at River City Ale Works on Saturday for Brave Men attracted beautiful women!”
May 11, 2025: multiple people of the Ohio Valley voice their concerns about the subject matter of the post objectifying women which included photos intentionally cropped to just the women in group photos, and photos of women from behind and of their feet. The photos of feet were removed but the rest of the photos remained on the post.

May 12, 2025: Dimitri shares a live stream to his Facebook page and the Big Willie 105.5 page claiming he was attacked because he “posted pix of beautiful women, wearing gorgeous gowns”. During the live stream, he reads out a Facebook post by a woman calling him out on sharing the photos.
May 13, 2025: Dimitri uses the photo controversy as his entire FM Radio show and claimed only a man reached out to have a photo removed despite many women in the comments responding back saying they wanted the photos removed, including women who were subjects in the photo. During the broadcast, Dimitri took phone calls from the public which included an argument with a woman who attended the event who asked him to take her photos down and pointed out that some of the photos he shared were of a group of people which were cropped later for the post in question.
Dimitri Also shows images he had his team dig up from the person who made the post calling out his post, claiming the photos she shared of herself to her personal Twitter account we’re comparable to what he shared. (Screenshots of this moment are shared below) The photos were held up to the camera before the broadcast, during his discussion of the photos and during commercial breaks.
The radio broadcast was also streamed video shared to Dimitri’s Facebook page and Big Willie 105.5 Facebook page.
